Meet Our Doctor
Arlene Rillo, MD
Our founder and physician, Arlene Rillo, MD, brings in 14 years of experience in the field of medicine. Educated through dual residency training, she completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency in the Philippines, and finished her second residency at the University of Minnesota in Family Medicine. Dr. Rillo is Board-Certified with the American Academy of Family Medicine. Dedicated to continued learning, she is on top of what is the latest in the field of medicine, so her patients benefit from having the most up to date treatment and management.
As a result of her excellent training, Dr. Rillo can manage numerous acute, chronic, and complex diseases. She can confidently manage your Insulin, COPD medication, INR, chronic kidney disease, hypertension, behavioral issues, and women’s health care. She can perform a number of in-office procedures, such as trigger point injections, joint injections, removal of benign skin lesion, excision of simple cyst, ingrown toenail removal, pap smear, and cryotherapy. With her work at VIP Primary Health Care Las Vegas, Dr. Rillo hopes to forge long and lasting relationships with her patients.
When she is not busy in the clinic, Dr. Rillo likes to hike, cook, watch movies, and read crime/mystery novels.
Meet Andrea
Andrea Nina Mapa, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Andrea, originally from the Philippines, embarked on a journey that led her to become a dedicated healthcare professional in the United States. After immigrating with her family to Chicago, Illinois, she eventually settled in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2002.
With a passion for healthcare, Andrea pursued higher education, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governor University. Building upon her foundation, she attained her Nurse Practitioner degree from Touro University, Nevada, solidifying her commitment to excellence in patient care. Accredited through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Andrea brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice.
Since 2007, Andrea has been deeply involved in the healthcare field, honing her skills and experience across various specialties. With over 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, she has served in diverse roles including Pediatrics, Medical, Surgical, Oncology, Long Term Care, Home Health, Care Coordination, and Supervision. Her extensive tenure includes positions at esteemed institutions such as Sunrise Hospital, Kindred Hospital, Southern Hills Hospital, Mountain View Hospital, and St. Rose Hospital.
As a Family Medicine Primary Care Provider, Andrea embodies a profound commitment to nurturing authentic and enduring connections with her patients. Rooted in empathy and compassion, she goes beyond the traditional scope of healthcare, striving to understand the unique stories, concerns, and aspirations of everyone under her care. Andrea believes that fostering genuine relationships is paramount in facilitating holistic healing and promoting overall well-being. With her unwavering dedication, she ensures that every patient feels valued, heard, and supported throughout their healthcare journey. Andrea believes in cherishing life's simple pleasures and treasures, quality time spent traveling and bonding with her family and friends. In her leisure moments, Andrea indulges in her passion for music and theater, finding joy in attending concerts and Broadway shows.
